He started his career at Patni Computer Systems, in the software development team, where he had a distinguished 30+ year career. In the last 10 years of his tenure with the organization, he was a part of Patni’s executive management. He played a number of different roles during this period. He led the Insurance Vertical as well as Growth Industry Vertical as the P&L Head. Later, he was the company’s Chief Delivery Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer. For the last two years, he played the role of Global Industries Head, wherein he was responsible for pre-sales support as well as the creation of non-linear solutions.

During his tenure with Patni, he was instrumental in creating the first $100MM customer for the company, led a business transformation program called Propel which improved the company bottom line by 500 bps, created a number of solutions and platforms for the company to drive non-linear growth and built an Enterprise Risk Management system as well as a number of methodologies enabling a robust global delivery engine.

Post the acquisition of Patni by iGATE, he was part of the iGATE executive management in his roles as Head of Consulting and Solutions and later as an iTOPS Evangelist.
