Our Proprietary Sensors were initially used in several critical applications like aerospace, uranium enrichment and nuclear reactors where all other sensors had failed. As a result, we have developed a wide range of Portable Handheld Hydrogen Gas Leak Detectors offering a variety of options to choose from, depending upon the criticality of the application and desired performance parameters.
The Proprietary Sensors offer a selective, specific and intelligent response only to Hydrogen with negligible cross-sensitivity from other gases. The Sensors do not get damaged even if exposed to 100% pure Hydrogen, which is critical for locating a leak by taking the Sensor right up to the source of a leak, without the fear of damaging the Sensor.

PORTaHY-FR-9% is best suited for an application encountering pure hydrogen leaking at medium to high rates from within a closed chamber like tanks, cylinders, pipes, vats, vacuum chambers and other medium containing a pure/ high concentration of hydrogen.
In case a low rate of leak is anticipated, we suggest you consider our model PORTaHY-FR-5%. If your application requires a high resolution (1 PPM) measurement at low concentration levels (sub-2000 PPM), we suggest you look at our product PORTaHY-FR-2000.
